my mistake olu famutimi was the first canadian to make the game in 2003 but still huge news for bball in canada

I believe Barry Bekendam from Prescott was on the McDonalds All American team back in the early 80's. He went on to Villanova

gotta get pumped for Canadian Basketball! Tristan THompson, Cory Joseph, and Myck Kabongo next year all hav the potential to become stars, they all play for grassroots, so hopefully one day they'll help canada get to the olympics for basketball.

You're right. Not sure if he was the first Canadian but he played in it I believe in '86.
