I am a recruiter for Ming Chuan Universty(MCU)-Men’s basketball team in Taipei, Taiwan. We are currently looking for players that are interesting in playing basketball for MCU next fall. MCU competes in the Division 1 league of the University Basketball Association (UBA) here in Taiwan. We currently have 3 international players on full scholarships playing basketball for us here at MCU, and we wish to extend that opportunity to anyone that is talented and willing to experience new things. Moreover, Taiwan is home to the SBL, which is one of the top professional basketball leagues in Asia. The SBL has attracted many international players from the NCAA and UBA rules allow university students to play pro while going to school. All UBA games are televised on ESPN Asia as well as other local sport networks.
MCU is the first and only university in Asia accredited by the US Ministry of Education. We have 2 state of the art campuses with over 15,000 students, 600 of which are international students. The International College (IC) at MCU, is an English taught curriculum consisting of 7 different majors.
