| Game #5 is Glebe vs Franco Ouest while Game #6 is St. Mike's vs St. Paul.
Also, Games 5,6,7,8 are listed as at GLEBE on my schedule, not at St. Pat's. Can anyone confirm that location? |

| You're right about St. Pat's not hosting. My mistake. Otherwise, this was the draw provided by coachc on the previous board, so I'm not sure about changes. |

| Thanks for the update on the draw. I think the confusion was that St. Mike's replaced St. Peter but there was a bit of a shuffle of the draw the help with transportation concerns. Looks good now! |

| Despite both teams playing their third game of the day, the scoring and overall excitement of this year's Ottawa Referees' championship game was still high as Sir Robert Borden Bengals defeated the Lester B Pearson Panthers, 76-70.
Both teams looked early to find an inside presence with SRB's 6'5" Nikola Misljencevic and Pearson's 6'7" centre Achuil Lual, but Misljencevic's third foul with 1:26 left in the first quarter had him on the bench for the remainder of the half. SRB's guards got hot in the second quarter with their outside shooting, including grade 10 Farhan Awaleh who scored 11 of his eventual 15 points. Lual ended with 12 points in the half, which ended knotted up 34-34.
While Pearson star guard Johnny Berhane continued to find ways to score from the outside or off the dribble, the Borden shooters continued to stay hot in the second half and would grab leads as high as 7 until the two minute mark of the fourth quarter. That's when Darren Pagal's two three-pointers pulled Pearson to within 72-70 with just over a minute left. After Awaleh made two free-throws to make it a two possession game, Pearson was unable to get any closer.
SRB 76 (Amir Majidi 27, Nikola Misljencevic 16, Farhan Awaleh 15, Jamal Aden 14) LBP 70 (Johnny Berhane 22, Achuil Lual 19, Darren Pagal 12, Mike Placide 10)
Perth defeated St. Paul's for the bronze medal, 46-30. |

Haha, I know. Not just 1988, but 1989 (88-56 win for SRB) and 1990 (92-82 win for SRB) too. |

| Thought it was an impressive tournament was there like a first and second group of stars from this tournament if possible? |

| LBP, St Pauls, St Pats, St Pius have shown that they're better than people expected them to be. Bell is also better than people think because they did miss 2 key players in Sham and Salameh. Also, this tournament showed that anyone can beat anyone on any given day. In my eyes, there's no clear favourite to win AA or AAA in Ottawa this year. There won't be a team like St Matts this year. Some teams that didn't play this weekend but I believe will surprise teams once others start watching more of them are Nepean, St Matts, Sacred Heart and Earl Of March. |

| I agree with MehdiTihani that it is still unclear who the favourites to win this year might be, but I would add Hillcrest to his list of teams to watch for as the season begins. The Bill Wren tournament at St. Matts will start to give more insight to which teams are the early favourites but even then so much can happen between now and February! |

| Some of the top players I saw were Lual from LBP, Christian from St. Pats, the blonde haired player from Perth (sorry I don't know his name), Jordan from Pius, #21 from Bell, and the shooter for LBP (#14 I think but I cannot remember for sure). Sorry only six guys but these guys played well in the games I saw and there were others that could be mentioned but I cannot remember names etc. so I will stop at 6. |
