| So far we know the four teams from the west and two of the four from the east who will be in the playoffs.
West
1st - Sacred Heart (9-1 win tie breaker with SRB) 2nd - SRB (9-1) 3rd - Earl (7-3 win tie breaker with All Saints) 4th - All Saints (7-3)
East
1st and 2nd St. Pats and Hillcrest - winner of tomorrow's game gets 1st loser is second. 3rd St. Matts (7-3 or 6-4 can't finish higher or lower than third) 4th St. Peter (5-5)
Thus on Monday St. Peter will play at Sacred Heart, St. Matts will play at SRB, Earl will play at the loser of Thursday's game between St. Pats and Hillcrest and All Saints will play at the winner of that game.
There are no easy games here. It will not be a shock if any of the visiting teams win as we have seen time and again, anyone can beat anyone on any given night. Should be great basketball!! |

| Wow - that's some serious scoring on the EOM/St Pat's game. Did it end in regulation or was that an OT battle? Does anyone have a detailed description of that game? Must have been some 3's raining down? | Xavier Rimrocker wrote: | St. Matthew 75 @ Sir Robert Borden 48

From talking to some Earl of March players, it was a double OT game. Apparently a player on St. Pats hit a game winner at the buzzer, not sure who it was though. |

Only a hand of 3pts on both sides, but almost every possession ended in 2 points. Very few TO. EOM lost Rob in 1st qrt due to foul trouble but still they won 1st qrt (and 4th qrt). St. Pats won 2nd and 3rd qrt. with 10 pts advantage one time in 2nd qrt. ST.Pats sit down Mariel in 3rd qrt because foul trouble. Apparently that was gud for him as his last second 3pts brought St. Pats into OT. 2nd OT Ernest scored winning basket with 0:00 on the board.
That was the best game of this season. It was better than collage TV games.
Both teams come focused to win and very well prepared. The players were aggressive and hungry to win. That was game when miracles happen; You could seen Ernest (5.7) jumping and successfully blocking Ryan (6.11), or Owen shooting and scoring 3 from almost half court or Rob diving to the floor and flying 15ft to steel bb., or Mariel flying in the air and scoring from 3pts line.
If they have only a gud refs!!!!!! Refs at senior playoffs level should be better or at least be consistent. They managed to p..off seriously most players, both coaches, all fans, and themselves as well.
Congrats to both teams. |

| Since 3 of the 4 semi-finalists are AAA, I beleive the semi-final match ups will remain as indicated on fatdog.ca.
St. Patrick's @ Sacred Heart St. Matthew @ Hillcrest
If Sacred Heart beats St. Patrick's does the winner of St. Matthew/Hillcrest automatically qualify for AAA OFSAA or would they have to beat St. Patrick's, too? |

| Found the answer.
If Sacred Heart wins, it automatically qualifies for AAAA and the other semi-final winner qualifies for AAA.
If Sacred Heart loses then the champion picks AAA or AAAA and the finalist plays in the other one. |

| Should be two very interesting matchups. In both games you have (St. Matts and Sacred Heart) a disciplined team that is very patient and takes smart shots with good shooters taking these shots. They rely on strong team defence with solid rotations. Their opponents (Hillcrest and St. Pats) are very active defensively and force the opposition to make decisions under pressure. They create a siginficant portion of their offense out of transition and turnovers. I won't predict winners as these games can go either way, but I will say that the games will most likely come down to whether or not St. Matts and Sacred Heart can handle the defensive pressure of their opponents and whether or not Hillcrest and St. Pats can challenge the shots from the perimeter. Should be some very exciting basketball either way! |

| Looks like Hillcrest and Sacred Heart will meet in the AAA/AAAA final on Tuesday and both will represent Ottawa at ofsaa. Many will likely agree that these have been the top two teams all season and there is no surprise that they have advanced. I did not get to see the Hillcrest vs St. Matts game, but I was a bit surprised to see the large margin of victory in the score. The Sacred Heart vs St. Pats score was also lopsided. I did get to see that game and SH dominated pretty much every aspect of the game. The score could have been much worse but Vik, Keegan, and Sean barely played in the fourth quarter after SH was up 30. They will be a very difficult team to beat in the finals and in ofsaa for that matter. I believe that St. Pats only had something like 9 or 10 points at half and this was a team that scored 86 just two nights ago so SH must have done something right. Should be a super final and I wish both Hillcrest and Sacred Heart good luck in ofsaa! |

| Congrats to Sacred Heart winning the AAA\AAAA championship tonight and establishing themselves as the number one team in the city this year. Good luck to all four Ottawa teams (Deslauriers A, Louis Riel AA, Hillcrest AAA, and Sacred Heart AAAA) at ofsaa. Perhaps it is a little bit of a "homer" opinion, but all four teams are entering their respective tournaments with the ability to go on a nice run and maybe even bring back some hardware! Good luck and do Ottawa proud! |
