Edmonton Alberta Tournament Details

The tournament is open to boys and girls teams of all ages, and unsigned seniors are welcome:
7th Grade, 8th Grade, 9th Grade, 10th Grade or Jr. Varsity (Gold, Silver and Bronze Divisions) High School Bronze (Freshman/Weaker JV Teams) High School Silver (Stronger JV/Weaker Varsity Teams) High School Gold (Varsity Teams)
*if not enough teams register we may combine Divisions
Tournament t-shirts are available at discount to participants $5
We will schedule your first game around your arrival time
4-game guarantee
Pool play, with all teams advancing to the championship round
Normal high school rules with stop clock on dead balls
Games will be played at local high schools in Edmonton
Excellent facilities with championship round to be played at the Ice Palace in the West Edmonton Mall the Biggest Mall in Canada(This portion is TBA)
Trophies awarded to 1st and 2nd place team members in each division
Tournament fee $400 (teams will only be submitted with payment)
Game times will be posted at 6pm the Wednesday prior to the tournament
Teams coming from the US can fly into Edmonton International Airport
We will have a list of host hotels by February 1st

Swoosh Canada is running this Major event May 28 – 30 2011, culminating with the championship round to be run at the Ice Place in the WEST EDMOINTON MALL. This tournament will be one the premier high school basketball tournament of the spring. With the commitment of our Swoosh Basketball partner in the US of 25-teams we will have 250 teams from Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Saskatchewan, and BC. This tournament will have over 100 Canadian and US coaches and Scouts in attendance.
